It has been another busy week full of exciting learning opportunities. The children are managing their time well and there is a nice, settled environment in LC2. It has also been great to observe new friendships forming across the common.
What has been going on this week?
We have really enjoyed our fitness programme this week. Increasing our fitness levels whilst enjoying playing games together and developing new skills.
Statistics
We are continuing to focus on gathering, presenting and analysing data. We enjoyed asking each other a suitable question and then entering the data on a tally chart and creating a pictograph which we then analysed. We have also looked at repeated addition and multiplication.
Editing
We have been looking at sentence structure whilst writing our descriptions. We had a go at adding full stops and capital letters to form correct sentences.
As part of our focus on the Descriptive Writing genre, we have also been looking at common nouns, proper nouns, adjectives and adverbs. Challenge your child to come up with examples of each!!
